The first thing I did today was to layout my flooring and put a few coats of acrylic sealer on them. I don’t want just raw wood, because I want it to be easier to clean.

The kitchen needs extra framing under the lid, and I decided I want to build a drawer in it for better storage. I got the center support framed, and the frame of the drawer. I bought some drawer glides first, so I know how much space it needs for clearance.

I built the drawer from sanded 1×4 boards and used pocket screws again. I love that gadget!

That’s as far as I got today. I have never built a drawer before so that took some thinking.
