Well, here goes! The maiden voyage of the minivan!

I going someplace close for just one night, so I can figure this thing out. I’ve been cruising the interweb for ideas and buying supplies for months now, so I think I’m pretty well outfitted.

I headed out without reservations and found a really sweet campground near Hood River called Tucker Park county park. It sits along the Hood River and the campground is almost empty tonight.

I sure love my sunroof! I love seeing the treetops when I lay in bed.

I have two 24″ wide 4″ thick memory foam mattresses that fit the extended bed, or I can use one of them on the single bed. I have it set up like a couch for day. We’ll see if that’s how I like to use it.

My site is really private!

Ready for bed! I made window covers using reflectix insulation cut to fit my windows, and a tablecloth hung across a metal rod to block off the front cabin. It’s really dark in here! Nighty night!
