My kids and I share a special love for the zoo at Gage Park in Topeka. They have been here many times, since they were very small. One summer my daughter participated in zoo camp, which at this cozy little zoo was a very hands on, behind the scenes experience. We never miss a visit to the zoo.

I’m here without my kids, but my parents want to show me the newest addition to the zoo. A donation enabled the creation of a Japanese garden. It’s going to beautiful as the plants mature.
