Adventure time! I am headed to the north Cascades and North Cascades National Park.

My fun started with a rough drive up I5 and through Seattle. There is so much traffic!! And it goes on forever. From Vancouver heading north, the traffic just increases steadily until you are in the crush and madness of Seattle.

Finally, finally!, I got to the mountains. I was exhausted and didn’t try to go much further. I nabbed the last spot at Turlo campground, right on the Stillaguamish river. People were playing and swimming in the water and I sat on a rock and cooled my feet.
